Roof rack/cross bars

I’m having a hard time finding a nice universal set of crossbars I could put on my 2001 AC. I would like to have a cargo rack but every product I see made specifically for these trucks are $1000 for two strips of aluminum. Surely someone has had experience using something that is a universal fit or perhaps crossbars made for another truck that fit this. Here’s a couple examples above
