23andMe estimating some of cousins are 11th cousins and “9th cousins 4x removed” with each other

I don’t know what happened to 23andme’s “Relatives in common”, but it is so bad is ludicrous.

Before this update, or adjustment, or whatever you wanna call it, the farthest I saw was 5th cousins when it comes to the relationship between two given cousins of mine.

Now you see wild numbers that no company can claim to be able to come close to predicting with confidence.

I saw 11th cousins earlier today.

Looks like the company turmoil and decline beginning to reflect on their estimates.
