Is there any reason the Imperium doesn’t seem to really use almost any sonic weapons.

I understand the origin of the instrument weapons the noise marines use and obviously loyalists wouldn’t use those but like even IRL we have some examples of sonic weapons that can be used to incapacitate or even kill. I’d think the Arbites for example would love to have some kind of speaker system that can incapacitate rioters with sound.

I understand so much technology has been lost but really loud noise or sound waves at harmful frequencies isn’t exactly the most complicated or advanced technology.

I could understand if they don’t have like sonic blasters since noise marine blasters are a whole weird can of worms around the song of Slaanesh but you’d think they’d utilize something since it’s likely an easier technology to develop with than laser or plasma. Additionally it seems like even though the AdMech doesn’t like to innovate some like Cawl clearly do so
