Analogous to a mortal ascending to daemonhood, is it possible for a daemon to "descend" to mortalhood?

A bit of an odd question, I think, but I wasn't able to find a straight answer. If I understand it correctly, a chaos worshipper ascending to daemonhood means they become tied to the warp in the same way regular daemons are. They are immortal, become more directly beholden to the Chaos Gods, and physically manifesting outside of the Immaterium becomes difficult for them.

So is this trip possible the other way? Either a daemon prince being returned from daemonhood and becoming mortal again, or just a regular daemon prince "descending" from daemonhood to mortality? Are there any examples of something similiar happening in lore, or is it categorically impossible?
