Upgrading from nvidia to amd

i have a 3060 and a ryzen 9 5900x at 1080, i intend to upgrade to a 7900xt with the same cpu and monitor(for now) what tips/required things is there to do to make the switch relatively seamless and easy because i have seen a lot of people having trouble switching from green to red and believe it or not, i want to avoid that
