Advice on route to become an actuary (graduated 2023 w/ no grad scheme)

I recently graduated with a 2.1 in bsc economics and wasnt able to secure a graduate role as an actuary. I was hoping someone here could give me some advice on whether pursuing a MSc in actuarial sciences will increase my chances, especially if I apply to a uni where there are a lot of exemptions like Leicester or City, UoLondon. I really want to become an actuary as I feel thats where my skills and abilities are best suited. Any advice?
