On Saturday, June 15, I received these tracking messages for an item I ordered last week:

5:38 AM Package arrived at a carrier facility.

7:21 AM Package being processed at carrier facility.

0:21 AM A carrier delay has occurred.

8:00 PM Package delayed in transit

(The "carrier facility" is in a town about 5 miles from my home. I think it's a post office).

I received a message on Sunday, June 16, that said: "Now expected by June 18." However, there is no updated tracking info, i.e., nothing to indicate that it has left the facility. There is however, a message that says:

"We’re very sorry your delivery is late. If you have not received your package by today, you can come back here the next day for a refund."

I'm not in a hurry to receive the item, so I don't want to request a refund yet. Have you had this happen? What could be causing the delay? Did you eventually receive your item?
