Crippling morning anxiety

For almost a year now i’ve been having horrible morning anxiety but only when I have to wake up early. Normally get up at around 9-10 and have always been a night person but whenever something comes up where I have to wake up basically any time before then I get absolutely terrible anxiety and most of the time I will vomit 1-2 times. I am on medication and have spoken to my doctor about this and am working with her on it, but I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences and what has been able to help you.
