Unusually High ConEd Bill – Need Advice

Our electric bill has been sky-high, and I can’t figure out why. We’re in a 2-bed apartment with electric heat, used 1200 kWh last month, and got charged over $400.

Even when we’re not home and the heat is off, the ConEd app shows a constant high usage (~0.3 kWh every 15 min). Other units in our building pay ~$200 while running heat 24/7, but we’re super conscious about usage. Our usage in the app never drops down to near 0 but other units in the building do.

Landlord says the wiring is fine, and ConEd refuses to check, insisting the reading is correct. This has been extremely frustrating—anyone dealt with something similar or have advice on what to do next?
