Paddington 50p - what gives?

Going through a forgotten purse today, I found a 2019 50p featuring Paddington Bear outside St Pauls. Very cute.

The same coin is being sold on eBay for up to £10,000.

I know nothing about coin collecting, so can someone explain this to me?

There appear to be at least 1700 available on eBay alone, so it can't be that rare can it?

Would anyone actually pay that much for it, or are eBayers just doing it for... fun?

Is my coin still worth the same 50p that it was worth in 2019 or should I try selling it off to pay my next electricity bill?
