Are you alright with ethnic cleansing in Gaza?

This is a case of a conservative (me) asking a question for other conservatives. Recently Trump said that he wanted the USA to take over Gaza and force all of the Palestinians there to leave.

This is undeniably ethnic cleansing which he is advocating. Which I find horrifying. I’ve seen some conservative discussion online and it seems like there are a lot of conservatives who are also really bothered by this. The obvious human rights violations of course, but also a betrayal of “America First” by putting US soldiers in danger for the benefit of a foreign nation.

Are other conservatives as repulsed by this? Does anyone think that it’s a good idea or somehow justified? Could this be the thing that sinks Trump’s popularity?
