BG1 and 2 Switch Port

So, BG3 was my first play in the trilogy. On my fourth play through (honor mode) and love it. Ive just today discovered BG1 and 2 have a switch port?! My head exploded. Clearly living under a rock. Anybody played the port, worth getting? Anything i'm gonna have trouble with coming from BG3 to the port? TIA Happy Lunar New Year!
