Has anyone used Small Claims Court here?
If so did you use an app like Squabble, use a lawyer, or just fill out the forms yourself?
Long story long:
I need to make a claim against Praxis Health. The clinic failed to renew my VA Authorization number (this process can only be completed by the clinic) and then referred me to InterPath labs for a blood draw. Due to the authorization being out of date, I’m now on the hook for that bill.
I submitted a grievance with the VA/TriWest and the Praxis office manager acknowledged the issue to TriWest during the investigation. So, luckily, I have documentation where they acknowledge their mistake.
However, they have not made things right with the lab bill -- and they're giving me the run around— They refuse to give me an email address or even phone number to their office manager.
I'd like them to cover the bill as it was their mistake.
