Tips on sounding more clear?

I feel like the truck is loudish but it doesn't really sound crisp or clear. It could just be the fact I'm running red tips but is there any other way I could try to make it sound better instead buying new mids? I'm not completely against buying new ones it's just I'm trying to save up for a sub setup. Have a PIONEER 1770NEX and 4 DS18 PRO-X6.4BM.
