Used cars

Hello everybody, I'm looking for a used car around 3 to 4 lakh budget. My family's preferences are Alto k10 or 800. But I'm leaning towards Swift or Grand i10. In this budget there relatively newer models Altos available around year 2019 while as Swift and grand i10s are around year 2015. We are planning to keep the car for more than 5 years. So my main query is what happens to a petrol car in india after it crosses that 15 years mark, do we have to scrap it, do we have re register it or what else. I could've googled these things but I wanna know experience of you guys around this topic. ( I don't live in Delhi NCR, I live in small town of North India if that's relevant) If you want share anything more about my car preferences do let me know. Thanks in advance.
