Grady/10th/Preston turn arrow

If you’re heading toward this intersection down 10th, you can go hard right or “sort of right” on both the solid green and the weird 2 o clock orientation green arrow.

Right?

There is no reason you can’t go straight/right with that arrow. I’ve done it my whole life and never had a close call. People coming down Grady have no special left arrow when they can’t also go straight.

But why does Tenth have the weird arrow then? To make sure people don’t go left or straight into the one-way? Then why doesn’t the left signal have a left arrow? Or why not always have the right lane with the arrow (or both at the same time).

I think the arrow, combined with the sign about rules for turning right on red, are causing a lot of people to sit here at the green arrow.

Sorry I couldn’t capture said arrow today
