Update on TStat replacement
So after replacing my T-stat and adding coolant, it overheated. I noticed the OEM one had a bead thing that went on top, and the one I bought didn’t. Also, this crud was on my radiator cap when I opened it. (Yes, I am gonna do an entire flush, don’t yell at me) is it possible that I put it in wrong? Like is it supposed to be oriented a certain way? Thanks in advance. (Side note, hoses are getting hot, but the top one only gets hot at a certain point near the thermostat)
