SouthPark Mall OG stores
I grew up going to SouthPark with my family pretty much every weekend so you could definitely call it a large part of my growing up. Sometimes I think about what used to be there: Johnny Rockets, Disney Store, Gap, abercrombie kids, Kids Concoctions, Williams Sonoma...
I wanted to know if anyone knew the original tenants throughout the mall or had an original map they could picture. The one that's been bothering me the most is where Books a Million is now (previously Firefly's mini golf). I've always wondered who was originally there with the exterior store design being what it is (BAM and firefly's both just repainted the facades as far as I know). I thought it might've been Laura Ashley until I saw photos of it in the center court. If anyone also knows any resources I could go to for this info that would also be very much appreciated.
Also, fun fact, did you know Nordstrom originally considered coming to the mall where Dick's is currently. However, they opened in Beachwood first and canceled the Strongsville plans due to productivity issues.
