What do normal people eat for dinner?
I'm 22m and my pregnant fiance 22f and I struggle to decide what to eat on a daily basis my coworkers told me they decided what to eat within 30mins of stopping to think on it but it takes me all day and even then I may come up blank its not like I'm not trying it just was never taught to me as a child I was in a household where if it wasn't spaghetti, roast or burgers or something it was frozen heated up and my mother was forced to eat healthy to the point of abuse so she never forced me to eat anything so I just ate chicken nuggets and frozen food quite unhealthy so our meals generally was just 1 or 2 things not a meal just "food" and my taste pallet is horrible and I can't handle spiciness I've been working on it but I'm up to red pepper flakes but even bell peppers make it disgusting for me currently, I know I need to eat healthier I'm not overweight nor do I have diabetes and my only food allergy is apples, but I don't even have the mental framework to decide these things I've only recently (last few months started to put greens on my plate with the help of my caring partner) I know I can't eat the same food consistently she doesn't like it not do I very much but once I run through the list of was to make meat ,cheese and bread or pasta I'm out of luck she eats healthier than me so I know she's ok but it's extra work to do it this way when the back of my mind is like make pizza and call it a day but I can't just listen to the little kid in my mind . I genuinely want to be better but I can't even follow a path my mind as never tred it's like I hit a brick wall and no matter how many times I try and rethink it's ever present . I'd appreciate any help anyone has to offer.
