Tired of sandershelf posts

I get the feeling of wanting to share with those who gets it - whether it's pride over a fully stocked shelf and showing off cool merch, seeking encouragement and belonging with just a few books, or somewhere in between.

We all belong, and the support in this sub is beautiful. However, I do believe in the title. I've noticed a pattern in the push notifications I've gotten the last week, and I would estimate around 60-70% have all been sandershelves in a way or another. I rely on a interesting notification to bring me in for a few minutes of redditing and then disengage. I will admit it's far from that overwhelming if I actively scroll the sub right now since the primary focus will be related to WaT in one way or another,, but there are still noticeably a lot of shelves. I will also admit I am biased; the only shelf I'm actually interested in is Brandons own, especially after Nerdforges gift.

I believe the sub would be better, as in more creatively stimulating and not as repetitive in the feed, if we moved sandershelves to a mega thread or limit posts to a specific day in the week. Does anyone else agree?
