Served for Credit Card debt

I was just served a lawsuit for $2,500 unpaid credit card debt from capital one. I have 28 days to file a response to the court and the attorney representing them. I currently am unemployed with no money nor assets living with my parents. How should I go about this. I’ve read some people saying to fight it and have also read some people saying to ignore it and let it go to judgement seeing as I have no wages they can garnish nor assets they can take. I’m freaking out about it and would love to hear if anyone has experience going through something like this.
