Do the zombies bleed?

So I can't remember much discussion on the changed biology and everything of the Zombies. We learn in the second movie that they were caused by someone spilling Lime soda qt that plant but not much else. Do we ever see them bleed or discuss injuries? I haven't seen the 3rd movie and it's been a while since I watched either of the first 2. Zed implies that they can reproduce like humans, and Zoey is relatively young but I don't think they ever tell us what happened to Zed and Zoey's mom. Any answers or headcanons would be welcome.
