For those who decided between lab diamond and moissanite, which one did you choose and why?

I am set on the design for my engagement ring but I am debating between moissanite and diamond and wanted to know the thoughts of others who went through the same thing. For additional information, I’m going with a 18k yellow gold bezel setting with a center shield stone with two side stones.
