Wandering inn

Why isn’t wandering inn popular. It’s only popular as a litrpg but it’s sooo much more than that. I know litrpg has a growing community, but dungeon crawler Carl is still widely popular. Is the size really that daunting? Or was the writing too simple and bloated? Like those are critiques I’ve heard, but in my eyes the prose gets complex when it needs, otherwise being simple actually suits it better. There are sentences that make me go mwah, but if the whole thing was like that I would slightly annoyed and strange. I love reading so the thing others call bloat doesn’t bother me, in fact I quite like it.

It starts off as slice of life with wonder and tragedy, but it gets truly amazing. Did anyone here read and dnf, why?
