Actors/Actress Versatility

I was thinking today about actors and actresses who really surprised me in an unexpected role. The one I’ll use as an example is Michelle Williams in Shutter Island. That creepy smile she gives Teddy/Andrew when he tells her there’s no school on Saturday is a genuinely chilling moment and it makes me think she’d play a great serial killer. Are there any other actors or actresses you think could really blow us all away in a certain type of role we haven’t seen from them yet?
