Is ancient kraken obtainable in private server?

I managed to spawn 2 krakens in my private server and used poseidons wrath totem to turn them into ancient krakens. When I caught the krakens it gave me regular ones instead of the ancient ones... are ancient krakens obtainable in private servers or is it a bug?
