Force Breastmilk in the hospital
I just had a bb at kaiser permanente san diego. They asked me if want to breastfeed i said yeah I will try but ofcourse if no milk I dont mind bottle feed my 1st born is bottle feed. Anyways, so I had planned c-section and she was born 39 weeks so no milk , we try n try n try to break milk no milk at all. My bb had no problem latching at all. For 45 hours they were pushing me to breastmilk I told him hey! U said it yourself milk will come couple of days my bb is starving do you have formula. They ignored me and keep pushing n pushing what th3 hell!! Now guess what in just 2 days my bb lost a lot of weight because she was starving. I was like cmon we ask a lot of time to give us formula since I got no milk at all n bb is keep crying because she's hungry. So in day 3 the diff nurse I told her about the current situation. She finally agree to feed my bb. Omg! What the hell!! Why the push tho? Is there any reason why they will do this push? Is it the money? Or something? I mean we pay a lot of money every month for health insurance. So this is not the way we should get treated. Any idea why they were pushing ? N not respecting the patient request ?
