Break up or nah
I have a friend, or at least I believe he is my friend, but I think I might need to break things off. I don’t want to reveal too much in the off chance of him seeing. Basic gist is he has a lot of trauma and I always offer to listen and engage but, it’s a lot he can’t get past and even if I try to help it’s never gonna work. I’ve tried giving positive affirmations or statements and that doesn’t work. I’ve tried tackling whatever issue he’s having and it just leads to a lot of nothing. It can be frustrating because I’m trying to understand what’s wrong and I don’t want to leave him hanging but, it’s just a cycle of negativity. What should I do?
