Reload/Ammo Management Mechanics

Helldivers 2 includes a more realistic ammo management system that doesn't keep an overall ammo-pool for your weapon and instead keeps a total mag-count. Discarding a mag also discards the remaining rounds within that mag.

Unnecessary reloads has been CoD'd into our gameplay habits for some time now, even if it's just a single bullet.

Does anyone else think GTA VI might be a good place for this habit to be corrected, and/or might add to the game?

We could craft special bullets in RDR2, loading mags wouldn't be so far removed from that concept as a mini-game...
