Genuine Question: why do people get so angry discussing a comedic comfort show??

Yes, it’s interesting to discuss the irl parallels we all have with characters on the show, and analyse their relationships in a serious way, but why do fans turn on each other in such an angry way if they disagree about their faves? Yes we’ve all had problematic family dramas that can be triggered by this show but at the end of the day it’s a TV show that people are comfort watching for escapism. Why get so serious online??
