Are all Doodles clingy?

We have a 10 month old black Golden Doodle. 85%. Poodle and 15% Golden Retriever. Very chill. On us like Velcro.

However she always wants to lay on us, next to us, put her legs on our laps when we are sitting in a chair. Soon as she starts to see me heading towards the couch she starts getting this excited, anxious look. Soon as I sit she’ll jump for my lap. Lays her entire body on me. Thinks she a lap dog.

If I pull her off the couch or tell her no, maybe even block her from getting on the couch with me, she’ll pout and lay down behind the couch or go lay in her crate in the other room. Literally pouting. She’s like a literal toddler.

So all you Doodle owners, is this on par? Normal?
