So we're all just liars, poachers, and thieves, right?
Ok, so the funny thing about this game is that the dialog and story make your character seem like a "good guy", but um....
I mean, firstly, who doesn't learn the unforgivables? Of COURSE, you're going to learn them. Although, if I'm being honest, the one I use most is Imperio. Avada Kadavra feels too OP for me.
Second, if you need money, you just go around "rescuing" animals and then sell them to the weirdo hippie who runs the local feed shop. Or you literally loot other people's money chests... IN THEIR HOUSE... WHILE THEY'RE THERE! What? LOL!
Third, you literally become besties with a psychopath, and follow along with his shockingly rapid spiral into insanity -- all the while, you're just like, "Yeah, this is OK... everything is fine." Meanwhile, you're constantly lying to Ominus. Yes, lies of omission are still lies.
Then, while you're doing dark wizard stuff with Sebastian, you're off galavanting around the Scottish Highlands as if you're doing the "lord's work" by effing up poachers with Natty & Poppy! Does Poppy know you sold Highwing to the weird lady in Hogsmeade for a measly 120ʛ?
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this freak'n game. But holy geez, they really needed a morality system and some different dialog and associated quests for those of us who aren't full dark wizards at heart (are there really that many that aren't though?)
Thoughts?
Quick Edit: No, of course I didn’t ACTUALLY sell Highwing. I was just making a point. But I DID consider it for a minute when I got both male and female shiny Hippogriffs.
