I hope Sera is held accountable too.

Sera was the one who accepted the Exterminations and provided everything necessary for them to happen, but now, she can't just throw all the blame on Adam and the Exorcists, dehumanize them and act as if they were "forcing" their will on Sera.

To say or insinuate that Sera (a SUPERIOR SERAPHIM) was ""pressured"" by Adam (a damn HUMAN promoted to ARCHANGEL, which is still a low position in the celestial hierarchy) and the exorcists would be ridiculous.

No one would say that a ruler is not to blame for carrying out a shitty decision just because the idea came from a subordinate.

The Exorcists must be held accountable for their actions, but Sara must also be held accountable for being the person who allowed all of this in the first place. No matter how much Adam cried, he couldn't go against Sera's order without risking getting screwed up badly in the process, if Sera had said no, Adam just could (and probably would, if we go by his behavior in ep 6) shut up and accept it.
