Gap Year to Complete Hifdh

As-salamu alaykum,

I am currently a senior in the American Public School System and I will be graduating this summer. Recently, I have found myself inclined towards the Quran and have decided to memorize the book of Allah. I have received my university admissions for engineering; however, I want to differ my admission for a year to memorize the Quran. I understand that Hifdh requires full dedication which I fear that I may not be able to commit to since my major is so demanding. Additionally, as a university student I will be participating in research, internships, and work-studies which will take up much of my time outside of the classroom. As a result, I will not be able to balance Hifdh and my studies concurrently which is why I want to take a gap year.

Rather than delaying Hifdh for after university or doing it part-time with my studies, I think that my best option is to take a gap year and devote myself completely to Hifdh, so I can focus on this journey without any distractions. However, my issue is that I cannot currently find a program that will allow me to finish in one year. My local masjid's program will take me to 2-3 years which is time I cannot afford. I have looked online for some other courses, but they do not seem to be reputable or established.

Additionally, I am willing to travel to anywhere in the United States or Canada and cost is not an issue either. Furthermore, I have memorized around 3 juz with decent tajweed and my ability to read the Quran is also good. I was wondering if anyone could then recommend a program through a masjid, online, Islamic institute, or seminary etc... which may satisfy my needs and most importantly help me complete my Hifdh in a year.

Jazakallah Khair for all of your help. My Allah bless all of you and give you guidance on whatever journey you are on. If you have any additional questions or comments, please let me know.
