Can you make it on your own?

Hey everyone, so I'm late I didn't prepare for the R1 and now I'm going to be give the R2 in june.

I was looking for academies to prepare from, came across IBA Grads but it's super expensive I can't afford it, I'm thinking of preparing from Hashim Zia, it's more economical. I just wanted to know that can I get accepted by studying on my own and by online teachers for guidance and that if I put my head down and diligently put the work in, burn my midnight oil and be persistent, can i make it ? I''m an average student I scored 78% marks in matric and 70% in fsc part 1. I'm gonna be appearing in NET-ll on 23 feb 🤞. Can you guys also suggest/share your 2 cents with me on how to prepare and from where, I'm very stressed and that can one make it without consulting IBA grads. I was also wondering that should one give SAT too, to improve his chances of selection ?

I would also appreciate if you guys could share some prep material with me.
