International student reentry on trv after concluding studies but waiting for transcript.

Hello, I “graduated” and am still stressed.

I recently completed my bachelor’s degree and am currently waiting for my transcript to apply for a (PGWP). However, I plan to visit my home country in the meantime and have a few concerns: 1. My study permit expired on November 30, 2024. I applied for an extension on October 6, 2024, and received an approval. However, since I’ve completed my studies, I understand the extended study permit is no longer valid for my situation. (I received the approval letter but have not received the physical permit, likely due to the Canada Post strike.) 2. I hold a valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), which expires in 2028.(visitor visa when I applied for study permit extension in 2022 (passport was expiring))

My plan is to re-enter Canada using my TRV and inform the CBSA officer at the port of entry that I have graduated and intend to apply for a PGWP. I can’t apply for my pgwp yet as my transcripts are not final.

Am I missing anything?
