Super Visa for GrandParents, question about funds

Hi Everyone! My partner and I are looking into the possibility of bringing her mom and spouse to Canada using the SuperVisa.

We are not Canadians (but we are PRs) but our kids are. What we are struggling with is the financial aspect of the application. My inlaws have more than enough funds to cover any requirements but its them that have it not us. Can that be used in the application? or is the onus always on the sponsoring member?

Any help is appreciated.
