Best concealer for around nose redness?
Hello! I’m looking for a concealer that helps with concealing redness around the corners of the nose?
I struggle with finding concealers that can help conceal it without making it look super crusty. I do exfoliate around it but I find that no matter what, it looks awful and by the end of the day, the concealer never lasts. I also try to colour correct but I find that the moment I layer the products, it looks even worse.
Concealers I’ve tried:
- Hourglass Vanish
- Haus Labs Concealer
- Cle De Peau Stick Concealer
- Natasha Denona Hyglam
- Gucci Beauty Concealer
- Tower 28 Concealer
- Pat McGrath Concealer
- NARS Soft Matte
- Lancome Teint Idole
- Shiseido Synchro Skin
- IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereyes
- Dior Forever Concealer
- Armani Luminous Silk Concealer
- Merit Complexion Stick
^ Yes I know it’s alot but I am very insecure about my nose redness 🥲
If anyone with nose redness issues have tried these products please do share your thoughts too:
- Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Concealer
- Too Faced Born This Way Concealer
- MAC Pro Longwear
- MAC Studio Radiance Concealer
- Milk Hydro Grip Primer (for keeping concealer in place)
Any skin prep/priming tips is very well appreciated as well!
In terms of how I conceal after morning skincare, I put a primer (YSL Touche Eclat) -> foundation (avoiding putting too much) -> Warming up the concealer on my hand and using the Hourglass Brush but buffing the product into the back of my hand for even distribution.
I’ve also tried the ‘let it sit’ method but it usually looks quite crusty and patchy.
