Strongest mechanical strength I can use to support this sliding door holder?

I have problems with this sliding door metal holder that keeps falling off. I was thinking of getting some L - shape metal brackets to hold it but I am not sure is the best thing I can do? Is there a way to maximum the mechanical strength to hold this metal piece the ceiling as long as possible?
