What important aspects of Metroid as a franchise do you think should be present in a TV or Film adaptation?

At its core what makes Metroid special as a franchise to you and needs to be present in an adaption? Is it Samus’ characterization, the atmosphere, music, story, tone etc? I’m interested in more personal answers, not just objective answers with no reasons given like “Samus shouldn’t speak”.
