Anyone Else Prefer Injustice 2's Customisation & Levelling

Really not trying to dunk on this game, I love it and have been playing it loads, but a lot of the character's seem to have an absolute deluge of skins while also having few cool ones. Characters like Raiden and Sub Zero definitely have loads but others like Nightwolf, Joker, and Kung Lao just seem to have mediocre ones that, while certainly different and neat, don't really make it worth the grind and 'Elder' status.

Contrast this with Injustice 2 which imo has plenty of gear sets that completely alter characters (not just talking about premier skins) along with the colour swaps. I also don't enjoy how, in MK11, you only have a set account level versus IJ2'S character levels.

Both the lack of epic gear and set character levels, along with the fact that the only cool gear can be attained almost instantly, make trying to main 1 character feel a little pointless.
