Trying to remember name of a movie

Hi all, I'm trying to remember the name of this movie I watched as a kid in the 2000s. I remember there being a kid that was killed in a fire, but that kid comes back later in the story as a shadow or something in a horse and helps get revenge against those that killed him/his family. I don't remember a big shot actor being in the movie, but I could be wrong. Help pls!
