AI is the FUTURE of content creation.
Seeing a lot of people here making posts whining about "AI is soulless" or any of the other myriad of reasons people PERSONALLY don't like AI I want to make a somewhat controvesial take on this. If you're just looking at this as "I personally don't like AI so nobody should use it" you're incorrect and very naive if you think that is going to change a damn thing.
All channels that use AI in any way shape or form suck -- WRONG... watch The Why Files, they implement AI into different aspects of the videos and they are amazing. Bible in a Nutshell is also very good and is more heavily reliant on AI for it's content.
AI is soulless -- This take comes from the perspective that a creator must make all their content on their own without assistence for it to be orignal or good. Let's ask something... Do you like TV shows and movies? I hate to break this to you but even without AI the original "creator" has a whole big team of people whipping up the content for them to look over and make a final decision on. Even then I don't think it's soulless, the creator still has decision making to do on what goes and what doesn't and still has to shape the final outcome regardless.
YouTube doesn't like faceless channels -- This is not true. YT is aware that a large portion of the content on their platform is faceless and it makes them money. In the long run that is what they care about above all. They want content that will keep viewers engaged and on the platform to make them money. They care little to nothing about your personal opinion. Adding to that just because you PERSONALLY don't like AI content doesn't mean noone does at all. The numbers are NOT in your favor in this argument.
AI content cannot be monetized -- You need to do better research because this is absolutely false. It would take me literally two minutes to find a slew of channels that make over 10k a month with their AI content.
AI content is effortless/easy/fast -- It depends. If you use a tool like Invideo it can be a bit more effortless as it does nearly alll the heavy lifting... but if you are writing a script and having AI assist you with editing and nailing the tone then no... If you are using AI image generators to create images that align with everything being said in your videos also no... it takes time to edit the videos this way. And the majority of content creators implementing AI tools into their workflow are doing it from scratch, wrinting a script, generting the images and genering a fitting voiceover or using thier own voice. Regardless these steps all take time to do them correctly.
The fact is AI is merely a tool. How it is implemented and to what degree is entirely up to the user. A lot of AI voiceovers DO sound robotic... others are really hard to tell and will continue getting harder to tell as the software advances to a point that it will be indistiguishable from a real voice. Technology keeps improving and AI content isn't going away just because you personally dislike it. Either implement it or don't. If your content is good then AI is no threat to you regardless. AI will never fully replace content creators, it will merely be a tool that can be used to improve content and expedite workflow.
Edit -- I knew this was going to be a can of worms and I expected this to be downvoted. But reality is what it is... AI is already being implemented into ALL fields.. Just because you personally don't like it doesn't mean it's going anywhere. Again, it's a tool and like Photoshop will eventually be pretty standard even in content creation.
