Does your dog do this?

My mom’s dog tends to grab a thing (like a cookie ig? Idk what they are in English) from her food bowl, step away from the bowl and then eat it. She does eat at the bowl most times, I’ve seen her do it, but sometimes she does this whole show of eating a singular croqueta in front of us.

Do other dogs do this or is she a weirdo? I’m leaning towards the second
