I am a British citizen. I was born in the UK to British parents. I have a 92% now in ENG4U. I got a 92% in ENG3U. My mother tongue is English. The only language I speak fluently is English. I was born and raised in the UK till 10. When my family were expats in the Middle East, I WENT TO BRITISH OR AMERICAN ACCREDITED SCHOOLS WHERE THE TEACHING WAS STRICTLY IN ENGLISH. I couldn’t have done my GCSEs if I didn’t speak English fluently enough. (I got a 9 and 8 in English Language and English Literature respectively)
I’m going to lose it. I never thought I would have to prove my English. I know this is my fault and I should’ve been more careful but whatever. I didn’t think I would need to prove anything. I’m still upset I have to sit a language exam and do extra stuff and now it’s all so late and I didn’t even realize it. I am def not getting Ottawa which is a bummer.
(P.S. please don’t call me dumb I know I’m dumb. Maybe I should reconsider doing engineering.)
