How Do People Get Prescribed?

As the title says I'm so curious in general. Like I don't get it. Obviously going to a doctor and all but do you just ask? My dad is diabetic so he was prescribed for that reason and is on wegovy and lost some weight but not what you guys are experiencing like a difference. Do people go to a weight loss doctor or like any kind? I'm genuinely confused on how do people get it? I want to go on it but then I would feel so bad because I literally don't need to. I am considered overweight but not obese. I'm 21 who is 4'11 and weigh 150 and all the weight goes to my stomach. Also since I'm so short being in the 90-105 is where I should be at because when I was 110 I looked like I had a little bump now I looked months pregnant.

I do have a big appetite but also a very picky eater. I wish to get rid of my cravings of McDonald's, dr. Pepper, pasta, and large Frappuccinos. I know diet is mainly is what is going to make me lose weight but it's so hard when everything healthy is so blah.I only like it when I'm in the mood which sometimes. Also how much it without insurance paying because it's not for a medical reason in the sense of I'm just going to lose 20 pounds like celebrities. P.S. I'm on social security because I'm disabled and can't get a job and pay rent and medical stuff with my terrible health.
