Recovery after surgery w/ POTS?

*I’m not seeking medical advice since I already got checked out at the ER and will speak with my doctor this week

Fellow diagnosed POTsie here. I just had my first laparoscopy to diagnose endometriosis (came out positive, which I’m actually happy about because it means I’m not crazy!)

But my heart rate has been INSANE. Normally my resting is maybe 70bpm, but it’s been sitting pretty around 100-115bpm. When I stand, 140-150bpm. It’s also been making my anxiety worse. I went to the ER yesterday because of my heart rate and tight chest/shortness of breath, but they said I’m fine and sent me home. So I’m guessing it’s just a POTS thing…

Been 8 days now since surgery. Anyone else experience something similar after surgery? Did it take a while to go away for you?
