Adam and Rachel
I’m stoked I found this sub, I’m new to it so forgive me if this has been discussed previously.
What are your thoughts on the Adam/Rachel storyline? I have sooo many mixed feelings.
I feel like Adam was attracted to Rachel from the get go. That’s probably obvious, however, I think he was happy to hire her even though he “resisted” at first. I think the hesitation was fabricated, and had Crosby been against it, Adam would have been the one convincing Crosby to hire her. Moving on, I’m more so focused on how he handled the kiss and telling that story to Kristina. He told her the truth, but he did not tell her the whole truth and in some ways, I see his little fling or whatever that would be called, as infidelity. Am I alone in this? He was INCREDIBLY insistent on driving her home that night, she actually declined more than once and then finally agreed to let him drive her. Once there, again he was insistent that he walk her up to her door. They get to her door, exchange some words, and he hugs her. A detail he conveniently left out when he was telling all this to his wife. Rachel goes in to kiss him following the hug, and he lets it happen for a few seconds and almost contemplated it, and then he pushes her away. He led Kristina to believe that he immediately rejected her advance and was just utterly repulsed by the idea. Based on what I saw, that didn’t equate for me and I think he had more feelings for her than he was willing to admit. Even to himself. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
