Trans new passport

Hey y'all! I'm applying for a new passport next week and I transitioned from M to F years ago.

I updated my documents six years ago and everything has my amended gender on it. However, I did have a passport from back when I was in high school that had me listed as M.

I'm not really sure how to approach everything. Should I apply for a new one with my old sex or the one currently on my documents?
