How do you play COD on your ally

Listen I know first thing y’all are gonna say is “You don’t “ but I see a lot of people here saying they do with no issue just buy doing it safely. I’ve had a couple lucky times playing it through game pass but recently I can’t even get my gamepad to work. Any tips on how to fix that? Or even get the game running smooth.
